Gramicci is a long-established outdoor lifestyle brand that focuses on durable, functional and comfortable clothing designed for outdoor activities and the city. It uses premium craftsmanship and high quality, durable materials that guarantee a long life. These include sustainable ones - particularly organic cotton, recycled polyester and hemp. In addition, the brand is a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and has implemented the Higg Index sustainability assessment tool to better monitor and improve its environmental impact. Gramicci is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and has set a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2025. And how did it come to be? The brand was founded in 1982 by mountaineer Mike Graham and named after his nickname. The first product was the G-Pants with a sewn-in gusset that allowed a wide range of movement. The brand still uses this feature today and you will find it on all the pants and shorts in our range.
